The Baltimore Ravens continue to show interest in Indiana WR Cody Latimer. Latimer has been rising up a ton of draft boards in the last couple of weeks and could be taken in the first round of the draft. He even has an invite out to New York for draft day.

Latimer held a personal workout for a bunch of the NFL scouts over the weekend and the Ravens sent out their wide receivers coach in order to take an extra look at him. He also came to the facility to visit the team, per Ian Rapoport. Latimer continued to impress on his workouts and will be someone to watch on draft day. The Ravens could be the team that snags up  the wide receiver.

The Ravens don’t have a big need at the position and should likely use their first round draft pick on other areas of need, but Latimer is creating a buzz. The team just brought over Steve Smith onto the roster to add to Jacoby Jones and Torrey Smith. There are plenty of weapons at wide receiver on offense. Latimer would be another threat for Joe Flacco and the offense though.

He would be a solid selection and would put more talent on offense, but would be a better value for the Ravens in the middle rounds of the draft.
