The Seattle Seahawks are taking care of their players and have locked in S Earl Thomas to a blockbuster deal, per Ian Rapoport. The deal is going to make him the highest paid safety in the league.

Thomas is the  best in the game and is going to get paid like it. He leads the top defense in the game and helped bring the team a Championship. He is going to get rewarded handsomely.

The team also was working a deal with CB Richard Sherman, but they were able to complete a deal with Thomas first. We could see a deal with Sherman coming down the pipe some time soon.

The Seahawks have done a great job of locking in their own talent for the future. The details on the deal have not been announced yet, but we do know it is the highest paid deal for all of the safeties in the league.

Thomas has been in the league for 4 years and has been very durable during that time. He already has shown that he is the top safety in the game and he is still only 24 years old. He has a ton of time left in the game and a lot of that time will be spent in Seattle.

More details on the Thomas deal are coming down the pipe:
