LeSean McCoy has never been shy about speaking what is on his mind. When talking about his former quarterback Michael Vick and his shot at taking the starting job with the New York Jets, he didn’t pull any punches:
"“He’s going to be the Jets’ starting quarterback,” McCoy said of Vick. “He’s way better than Geno Smith. Way better. That’s no contest.” – Bart Hubbuch"
WAY BETTER! Sorry Geno, you might as well not even compete for that starting job this offseason.
Vick and Geno will be battling out for that starting job during training camp and it will be one of the QB battles to watch in the offseason. Vick will have the upper hand with the experience, but both players need to get on the field and prove their worth.
Vick lost the starting job with the Eagles last season to Nick Foles and is looking to take the starting job with the Jets. Vick’s biggest question is his durability. If he does win the starting job with the Jets, how long till he goes down with an injury and gives Geno Smith an opportunity to steal the job?
