The Cleveland Browns are holding a try-out to make the roster and Vince Young is one of the players that is hoping to get a job during that time. Head coach Mike Pettine said that the team will likely sign Vince Young or Tyler Thigpen onto the roster after the try out ends, per May Kay Cabot.

The Browns are looking for more talent at the quarterback position this offseason. They have Brian Hoyer as a quarterback on the roster, but they need more competition on the team and they still need to find that starting quarterback. Hoyer might be competing for that job, but he is coming off an injury and still has a lot to prove.

The other quarterback on the roster is Alex Tanney. The team is expected to draft another quarterback in the coming draft to compete for that starting job as well. Thigpen or Vince Young would be competing for a job as the backup or 3rd quarterback on the roster. Right now, they are competing to get a roster spot for training camp.
