The San Francisco 49ers are very interested in adding LSU WR Odell Beckham Jr. onto their roster, per Eric Branch. His source has been hearing the “same buzz” on an LSU player as he was hearing last season with Eric Reid. Reid was drafted by the 49ers last season and Beckham could be the top option for the 49ers this coming year.

If the 49ers want to grab Beckham in the coming draft, they likely will have to move up in the draft in order to select him. He is one of the top receivers in the draft and has been getting a lot of interest from the teams that draft in front of them. The New York Jets are a team that could consider drafting Beckham with the 18th selection, so making a move with the Baltimore Ravens at the 17th spot would make sense. The Ravens  have been receiving some calls about trades already and the 49ers might be one of those teams that put a call out.

The 49ers have 11 draft choices in the coming draft and can make a move up in the draft with a few teams. They could be looking to jump up and use some of those picks as trade bait.
