Tampa Bay Buccaneers Could Have Mike Glennon on Trading Block

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be entertaining trade offers for QB Mike Glennon, per Adam Caplan. Glennon took over the starting job last season, but the new coaching staff that was put in place may want to move in another direction. The team already picked up Josh McCown from free agency and he was named the starter by Lovie Smith.

The team is also entertaining the idea of bringing in a quarterback in the draft. There have been some rumors about the team’s interest in Johnny Manziel with the top selection. Selecting Manziel with the top spot would just push Glennon deeper on the bench.

Glennon is coming off of a solid season for a rookie and the team should be able to net a nice draft pick for him. If a team is unable to take the quarterback that they want in the draft, then they could call the Buccaneers up and see what the asking price is for Glennon. He would be a nice trading chip for the team.
