  • Kerrigan was drafted by the Redskins in 2011 and has not missed a game. He has averaged a little more than 8 sacks per season at his linebacker position. He will be a great player for the team to keep around for an extra season.

The focus this week for the team is the NFL Draft though. The NFL Draft starts in less than a week and the team needs to find some players in the secondary or at linebacker. They could also use some help on the offensive line. The Redskins won’t be able to select until the second day of the draft unless they find a way to move up and trade into the first. Let the drafting begin already!
