There’s no way the Bears take Jernigan with Gilbert still on the board. He’s just too.much talent to pass up on… They need to start thinking about replacing Tillman, and he would probably serve in the return game too… After all they did in the off season to re shape the DL, the bears are going DB in the first round whether it’s corner or safety.

    • Ricky Widmer

I personally see the Bears going with Pryor myself. Dave just doesn’t like either Gilbert or Pryor for some reason (Dave’s a Bears fan too). Pryor/Gilbert/Jernigan would be my personal order of priority between those three players.

      Thanks for the comment!

you mixed that up, we signed a lot of DEs, and just because Houston can move inside at times, our DT are, Ratliff, Collins and paea, who both are backups, I would like Donald ,if he is there, I think we can get a starting S in the 2nd rd, bucannon, joyner, brooks, or if we could trade back, then we could get nix or truit, and ward or bucannon, who are safeties that are faster than hix and pryor

  • David

I love the Pryor pick but I dont know that I could pass on Barr.

    • Ricky Widmer

It all depends on what you want more. Safety or Linebackers. I personally think Pryor could be off the board by either Pittsburgh or Chicago.

      Thanks for the comment David!

      • David

        Ricky,

You are welcome. I think both safeties could be off the board at 16 to be honest. So I am hoping Barr is the pick there or trade back a few slots and take Shazier who I love as well.

        • Ricky Widmer

I really like Shazier, but I’m bias because of my Big Ten focus. haha

          • David

Well its like I posted in the other forum. Shazier would be a total Jimmy Johnson pick be cause he is fast, can tackle and make plays. The Cowboys defense needs guys like this.

  • Johnny

Stupid crazy with Dolphins picking a WR in the 1st round… Either go with ILB CJ Mosley or trade down.. But with no trades… CJ Mosley is the pick at 19 (that’s if he’s there)( and all 4 Tackles are off the board)

    • Ricky Widmer

I totally agree with you Johnny. Had Mosley going to the Phins on my personal mock draft. Mark seems to think you guys need a WR though.

      Thanks for the comment!

  • Willy

I like many of your choices but IMO players like Mack & Barr will go high, there wont be that many OT’s picked in the 1st and you have too many 2nd round picks (according to the experts) going in the 1st round.

    • Ricky Widmer

You really think Barr is going to go high in the draft? Don’t get me wrong. He’s definitely a first rounder, but I’m thinking late 1st. Also, anything can happen on draft day. Just look at Geno Smith and Brady Quinn. Thanks for the comment Willy!

      • Willy

I absolutely expect Barr to go early & so do most of the “experts”, not that their right often but he is a tremendous talent. Thanks

        • Ricky Widmer

Which team would you predict to take him?

          • Willy

I’m thinking Raiders, as they continue to rebuild their Defense but it could be Atlanta or TB as well. Atlanta’s defense was terrible last year & even though everyone thinks Tackle to keep Ryan upright, I’m thinking Defense because they were so bad last year.

          • Ricky Widmer

I could totally see TB taking him. Everyone thinks they should go offense with the pick so what will Lovie do?…He’ll go defense…

  • pbg619

Why would the Rams pick up another small WR in Odell Beckham??? dont get me wrong he is good but we need a True Number 1 WR Sammy Watkins or Mike Evans…..then we ignore the fact we had the worst Secondary lol this mock is trash…even though it doesnt mean how the Teams will draft but this is a bad Mock

    • Ricky Widmer

So you’d take Watkins over Mack? To be honest, I think someone is going to trade for this pick to get Mack. Thanks for the comment!

      • pbg619

I would take Watkins over Mack but thats just me but i completey agree with you i do think we will trade down for that pick…but i just read a report saying that the vikings are trying to make a trade with us for Sam Bradford which if we do i think we stay where we are and get Manziel….this is the best and most confusing draft I’ve seen…its kinda cool but at the same time its nerve wrecking

        • Ricky Widmer

I heard that trade rumor as well. As a Viks fan, I’m not against it. I’d take Sammy Bradford over Blake Bortles. However, I feel the Vikings could trade for Bradford and take a QB MUCH later in the draft. It’s clear Ponder is done in Minnesota.
