Here is the analysis on the selection:

The 49ers have needs most prominantly at CB and WR, and though I was hoping Beckham would fall through to number 30, Jason Verrett is not a bad consolaton prize. If the 49ers do not trade up in this draft (which appears likely) the 49ers could solidify a leaky secondary with few cornerback options with a guy that can come out and potentially start week one.
