17- Baltimore Ravens- Louisville S Calvin Pryor

Physical, tenacious and powerful Pryor gives the Ravens an interchangeable safety to pair with Matt Elam. With two big hitters on the back end of their defense Baltimore regains its defensive identity and returns to knocking the absolute crap out of people.

18. TRADE St Louis Rams- Ohio State CB Bradley Roby

The Rams get the corner they prefer while picking up some additional draft capitol with their trade back from 13. Feisty and extremely athletic Roby gives Jeff Fischer the perfect corner to mold into his type of player.

19- Miami Dolphins- Tennessee OT JuWuan James

Lost in all of the craziness that was the Richie Incognito scandal was the fact that the Dolphins lost the starting left side of their offensive line leaving Ryan Tannelhill to fend for himself. Unfortunately for the Dolphins all of the top OL talent is long gone by their pick so they will have to reach with JuWuan James.

20- Arizona Cardinals- Fresno State QB Derek Carr

With an eye on the future Bruce Arenas selects a quarterback with the arm strength to thrive in his vertical offensive. The presence of Carson Palmer allows Carr the ability to learn under an established pro and keeps him from making the monumental jump from the WAC to the NFC West right off the bat.

21- Green Bay Packers- Ohio State ILB Ryan Shazier

Ted Thompson finally brings in some speed for a defense that has been torn apart by Colin Kaepernick in the past two playoffs. Shazier ran a supposed 4.36 40 yard dash at his Pro day and should be able to start from day 1 in Lambeau as a sideline to sideline inside linebacker.

22- TRADE Dallas Cowboys- Florida State DT Timmy Jernigan

The Cowboys trade down works to perfection as they land their man in Jernigan at a more reasonable point in the draft. Big and strong Jernigan will fit in nicely in Dallas’ defense giving them some much needed talent on the defensive line.

23- TRADE San Francisco 49ers- Virginia Tech CB Kyle Fuller

With 11 picks in the 2014 the 49ers figure to be one of the most aggressive teams and should be able to convince Kansas City to trade down potentially for their own pick they sent out west in the Alex Smith trade.

The 49ers need help on the outside at both CB and WR and Fuller is the highest ranked CB on multiple draft boards. His slip to 23 is San Fransico’s gain and he will likely be a starter from day 1.

24- Cincinnati Bengals- Michigan State CB Darqueze Dennard

Former Defensive Coordinator and current Viking Head Coach Mike Zimmer maximized the talents of Pacman Jones and Terrence Newman and it is now time for the Bengals to invest in a shutdown corner. Dennard fits that bill with his physicality and quick feet that made him the 2013 Thrope Award winner for best defensive back.
