Off-Season Losses
Losing Jackson is a big loss, however already this off-season the Browns have made up for it with some great acquisitions in former Arizona LB Karlos Dansby and San Francisco SS Donte Whitner. With that said it probably wasn’t the best decision to let go of Jackson, however this year I feel like is going to be a better year for the Browns. Look for the draft to be a place where the Browns really score big and pick up perhaps some unrecognized defensive talent to make up for Jackson’s absence. Thus far this off-season the Browns have given up two of their three best defensive players in D’Qwell Jackson and T.J. Ward due to free agency. In response to their signings with other teams, the Browns have taken LB Karlos Dansby and SS Donte Whitner to make up for Ward leaving. In my honest opinion the Browns benefited off of Ward leaving. They got an arguably better safety and linebacker. Now all they’ve got to do is decide on a QB to take in this year’s draft and they’ll be golden.
