After the Titans chose not to pick up quarterback Jake Locker’s 5th year option, it was possible that the team would select a quarterback here with the 11th pick. Instead, they selected offensive tackle Taylor Lewan out of the University of Michigan.

Lewan is a big presence that will compliment well with the other Tenessee offensive lineman. Lewan has the opportunity to follow up the Titans previous first round pick, Chance Warmack, as the teams future stars on the offensive line. Lewan is a huge body that can maul defenders and open up running lanes for the new Titans running back, after Chris Johnson departed for New York. He can also throw around defensive lineman, so quarterback Jake Locker can stay on his feet and get the ball to some of the Titans solid, young receivers.

A good pick here for the Titans as they fill the void they had on their offensive line by sleeting Taylor Lewan at number 11.
