The Denver Broncos added another weapon on offense by taking Indiana WR Cody Latimer. The team lost Eric Decker in free agency and needed to find another big body receiver to fill that role. Latimer will now fill that role on offense and give Peyton Manning another weapon to throw the football to.
Manning now has Wes Welker, Emmanuel Sanders, Demayrius Thomas, Julius Thomas and Cody Latimer to throw the ball to. Latimer was projected to go from the first to the third round and was taken at the end of the 2nd round for a high powered offense. Latimer will be part of the offense for a long while and can be a nice addition to the offense.
Having all those weapons on offense is just plain unfair. The Broncos are looking to move the ball down the field at will all over again. That didn’t work in the Super Bowl and must be thinking that they need to super charge that offense just a little more. They already did work in free agency on the defense.
