Pittsburgh Steelers Select DE Stephon Tuitt

The Pittsburgh Steelers added another player onto their defense with the selection of Notre Dame DE Stephon Tuitt. Tuitt will be a nice player on the team’s defense and will be a big body that can make some things happen on defense. Tuitt was a strong defensive player next to Louis Nix in the middle of the Notre Dame defense and will be able to add his skills to the Steelers defense.

Tuitt can play in the 3-4 or 4-3 defense and has tremendous upside. He is only 304 pounds, but still could get some work in the middle of the Steelers defense.

The Steelers have added a couple of players onto their defense now in the draft. Ryan Shazier was their first selection in the first round and now they have added Stephon Tuitt in the 2nd round. The emphasis has been on the defense so far.
