Cleveland Browns release WR Greg Little

The Cleveland Browns added Miles Austin and Earl Bennett to their roster this offseason and needed to make some room on the roster for those guys and decided to release WR Greg Little. Little was a 2nd round selection for the team in 2011. He has spent 3 seasons with the Browns and had not missed a game with the team.

He has a career total of 1821 yards and 8 touchdowns. Last season he finished with 41 receptions for 465 yards and 2 touchdowns.

In 2011, he finished leading the team in catches and receiving yards and now he is looking for a new roster to join in the offseason. Training camps are starting up soon and rosters are getting close to set. Little will have to find a team to join quickly if he wants a chance at a roster spot.

The potential is still there. With all the quarterbacks that the Browns have gone through, maybe Little just needs a little change of scenery. I am sure that some team will give him a chance to make some things happen.
