Ray Rice likely to face suspension from NFL

Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice likely will be facing a suspension when the season starts up that is handed down from the NFL. Rice assaulted his girlfriend and there is some tape that a ton of people have seen that puts a bad taste in their mouths. If Rice didn’t see any type of discipline from the league, there would be some questions to be answered from the league and from the team.

The team is prepped to move on without him for a few games. They were already prepping to add more depth at the position and wanted to spread out the responsibilities on offense more anyway. Gary Kubiak was brought on to run the offense and he will be looking to run the ball more, but will also look to split up responsibilities a little more.

Rice is coming back from a down season and he will need to step his game up. With the suspension and the poor season in his back pocket, the team might not have the patience to keep him around if he slips up on the field more.
