Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee injured in first team OTA

Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee was carried off of the field after the team’s first OTA practice today. He was knocked to the ground by rookie OT Zack Martin and had to be carried off of the field by the team.

Not a great start for Lee and the Cowboys. This is nothing new for the team or for Lee though. He always seems to be injured and can’t stay on the field. He has yet to complete a full season in his career and already has missed 18 games in his time in the league.

Lee appears to have injured his leg on the play. After colliding with Martin, he went down and yelled in frustration. He entered this offseason healthy after recovering from a torn ligament in his neck. The extent of the injury is not yet known, but this is Sean Lee and we all know that he could miss some time on the field this year. Even if he recovers in time for the season, something else could pop up.

Zack probably feels pretty bad but it speaks well of the level of play he’s bringing to the O line.
