Golden Tate sidelined with shoulder injury

Golden Tate has been sidelined from OTAs with a shoulder injury, per Mike Rothstein. He described the injury as sore at the moment and it is not believed to be a big issue. Tate will play a big part in the success of the Detroit Lions offense and the team would love to have him on the field to run through the reps with his quarterback, but it still is early and Tate can take the time to rest the injury.

Tate is a veteran and knows how to prep for the season. He will have to get the chemistry and timing down with his teammates, but they should be able to work that out in training camp and such.

It will be exciting to see the offense march out on the field with Tate and Calvin Johnson at the receiver spots. Matthew Stafford must looking at the weapons that he has on the roster as well.
