New York Giants QB Eli manning is ready to get back onto the football field and make some plays following offseason ankle surgery. He feels that he is 100 percent healthy and he could step out onto the field today if he needed to, per Aaron Wilson.

"“Yeah, 100 percent, yeah,” Manning said. “The ankle, I don’t think about it, don’t notice it. I go about practice and do everything and they’re not even worried about it. So, it hasn’t been an issue. No question I could play tomorrow.”"

That is great news for Giants fans. There was fear that the recovery time could take more time, but he was able to get back and rolling quick.

He still has plenty of time to rest the ankle before training camp starts up. He can spend the time building up strength in the ankle and getting prepped for the long, hard season.

Eli is ready to go. Hopefully the interception count will drop down some. The team needs him to play at that elite level all over again.
