Aaron Rodgers says running will always be part of his game

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers missed half of last season because of an injury he received while running the football. It has begged people to ask the question on if he will tone down the running game a little bit.

Rodgers responded and said that running the football will “always” be part of his game. Running the football will not leave his repertoire… and it shouldn’t. Rodgers’s mobility in the pocket and outside of the pocket is what makes him dangerous on offense.

His ability to escape pressure and make things happen with his legs is what makes him that dynamic threat. He can pick up the extra yards on the ground or he can suck that defense in and beat them over the top with a bomb down the field.

Rodgers may have been hurt early in the year, but he did make a return and brought a spark to the offense. He was able to lead the team into the postseason. He is that type of player.

We all will be looking forward to a healthy season from Rodgers on offense. He is one of the best players to watch on the field.

I’m happy he’s not pussin’ out, like Favre did early in his career. It’s what made Favre dangerous. He’d run all the way up to the line of scrimmage And sling the ball over the top of everyone’s head to hit his receivers in stride for major scores. Then, after the ’97 season, he started pussin’ out And staying in the pocket. It hurt his Game dramatically. Defenses began to pick him apart after that.
I say, keep your edge, Rodgers, as long as possible! Keep the defenses on their heels And off of yours.
