Kansas City Chiefs LB Justin Houston is not happy with his current contract and would love to get an extension and a pay raise. He has made his displeasure known to the team by sitting out mandatory minicamp sessions earlier in the offseason. According to Pro Football Talk, he will be making his appearance when training camp opens up next week for the Chiefs.

The holdout will be ending and he will get back to football with the rest of the team. At least he is not holding the season hostage because of his contract negotiations.
Houston is a valuable part of the Chiefs defense. The team would love to have him on the field and I am sure that they would love to extend his contract beyond this season. They just need to work those details out.
His deal ends at the end of the season and he is set to make $1.431 million this year. He will get a nice deal from someone when he becomes a free agent.
