Bears WR Marquess Wilson breaks clavicle

Chicago Bears WR Marquess Wilson has broken his clavicle in practice today and will miss part of the season recovering from the injury, per Pro Football Talk. The length of time for recovery still has not been determined.

Wilson was expected to step in as the 3rd receiver with Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery to form a sick group of receivers for Jay Cutler and the offense. Wilson will have to sit on the sideline for some time to recover though.

When he returns, the offense should be looking pretty with the group. The fans and the team were looking forward to seeing him on the field more and getting the opportunity to play. People will have to wait to see him on the field now.

When we get the timetable on Wilson’s return, we will send out an update. It usually will take a few weeks for a players to get back on the field after that type of injury. He could be ready to go during the first part of the season.
