These two teams have been going at it all week at practice. They have held joint practices and will finish off the intense practices with a preseason game on Thursday.

The starters likely will not see much action on the field, so our eyes could be on Jimmy Garoppolo running the Patriots offense for most of the day. Tom Brady could see some reps, but it won’t be many. We are still unsure if Rob Gronkowski will see the field. He has not been a part of the joint practices and the team could hold him out from the first preseason game to keep him fresh.

The fans in Washington will get a glimpse of the offense with Robert Griffin III and Desean Jackson on the field. That pair might not be on the field that long though.

Football is back and we get to see our teams back in action. The starters will have to sit for most of the action, but it still will be nice to see the guys on the field. This game will be about filling the 53-man roster. Making predictions for preseason games is crazy, but I will do it anyway.
