The Dallas Cowboys defense was terrible last season. They couldn’t stop anyone on defense and the offense had to carry the team in order to win games.

In their opening preseason matchup against the San Diego Chargers, the defense looked very familiar to last season. The defense was pushed around and the San Diego Chargers were allowed to march the ball up and down the field.
Head Coach Jason Garrett talked about the defense yesterday:
"“Sometimes they did OK,” coach Jason Garrett said via ESPNDallas. “I thought in general San Diego was able to move the ball too easily on us … They ran the ball on us. They threw the ball very effectively.”"
The Chargers have a deep group on offense, but the Cowboys better put up more of a fight during the regular season or it could be another long season.
