When the New Orleans Saints released Darren Sproles in the offseason, they had a gameplan. They knew what they were going to do on offense without the dimension that Sproles brought on the field.

With Sproles gone, the team is looking toward rookie Brandin Cooks to make an impact on offense. In his first game of the regular season, he showed the potential that he has in this offense. He lined up all over the field as a wide receiver and also had chances in the backfield in a pistol offense. He returned punts and showed that he can be a threat in a number of ways.
The future looks bright with the youngster on offense. He has the speed to go deep and has the wiggle to beat the coverage. With Drew Brees throwing him the ball, he is set to have an exceptional year on offense. Look out for his name to be on SportsCenter over and over again. He has that type of ability. He will be a game changer. I expect him to be a rookie of the year candidate at the end of the year.
