Ndamukong Suh coming to New York?

ESPN NFL Inside Adam Schefter reported Sunday that Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is interested in joining either the New York Jets or New York Giants in 2015.

Ndamukong Suh and his Lions face the New York Jets Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It could be an early preview of next season for Jets or Giants fans, if Suh is in fact interested in joining one of the Big Apple’s teams.

The former Nebraska Cornhusker standout has apparently been interested in a move to New York for quite some time now, according to league sources. Suh’s current contract is set to expire at the conclusion of this season, leaving both New York teams firmly in the mix to sign the big man.

The Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys have also expressed interest in the services of Ndamukong Suh. The New York Jets currently have the most cap space, roughly $24 million, of the reported teams interested in Suh. A move to Rex Ryan’s team would make a lot of sense as well, given the team already has the pieces in place to have one of the league’s best defenses.

Whichever team wins the Ndamukong Suh sweepstakes will surely be a winner, so long as he cuts out the immature actions.
