WR Jarvis Landry Becoming a Key Player for Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins drafted WR Jarvis Landry out of LSU last season. He was taken in the 2nd round of the 2014 draft and will be a future stud for this roster. Landry wasn’t a blazer on the field and never stood out athletically like the other receivers of this draft, but his route running and ability to make tough catches were at the top of the draft class.

He has slowly gotten work on the offensive side and he had his best game as a rookie last week against the Green Bay Packers. He had 6 catches for 75 yards and a touchdown.

I always have liked his ability to find some space on the field and his hands. He also is a tough hard-nosed player that is willing to get dirty. He blocks down the field and will do whatever it takes to win the game.

Just get this kid on the field and let him play. He reminds me a lot of Anquan Boldin with his style of play. He isn’t going to beat anyone over the top, but that is what Mike Wallace is for on this team. Give Landry the opportunity to work and move the chains and he will be an asset to the team.

He didn’t see any action in the first week of the season, but he has been getting worked in more and more with the team each week. As Jarvis gets more experience, he will be able to learn those little tricks of the trade and create more space for his quarterback. I love what he brings to the field and will be part of the formula for winning football games.

What do you all think of Jarvis Landry so far?
