Oakland Raiders DE Lamarr Woodley suffered a  torn bicep in the game on Sunday and his season is believed to be over, per Ian Rapoport.

LaMarr Woodley didn’t have much of an impact on the field for the Oakland Raiders this season and now his season is done. He appeared in 6 games this season and finished the year with a total of 5 tackles and 0 sacks. It was a disappointing season for the vet. This was his first season away from the Pittsburgh Steelers and he struggled in the new system.

Woodley saw a dip in his producction toward the end of his time with the Steelers already and we all have to wonder how many more chances he will get in the league. Every team in the league is looking to get younger and Woodley doesn’t look like he can produce any longer. The Raiders are likely done with him and will release him in the offseason. He will have to catch on with another team during the offseason and impress during training camp and during the preseason.

Some team that is looking for some pass rushing help will give him a shot to get on the field. Pass rushers are too hard to find.

During his NFL career, he has a total 304 tackles and 57 sacks. 299 of those tackles came in the black and gold uniform. The Raiders signed him to a 2-year deal worth $12 million in the offseason. I am not sure if they are going to keep him around for that 2nd year of the deal. That deal looks like a waste of money now.
