Is Mike Glennon The Future In Tampa Bay?

Is Mike  Glennon the future of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Does he have enough talent surrounding him to give him the opportunity to run the team next season?

What is Mike Glennon‘s future with the Buccanners? If Tampa has the opportunity to take Marcus Mariota with the first selection in the draft, should they go with it? Or should this team work on finding help up front?

The offensive line for the team is terrible and it is hard to evaluate Glennon when he doesn’t have the opportunity to make plays. He doesn’t get much time to throw the football. He has some targets that he can trust, but he doesn’t have confidence that he will have the time to make the play. He also is working with an interim offensive coordinator this season. Would Glennon be a star player if he had an o-line in front of him?

Would Mariota be better on this roster?

If a team has the opportunity to bring in a franchise quarterback, they have to take that chance. If Mariota is available for the Buccaneers, then they have to go with it and live and die with him. They will also need to get some help up front for him and then see how the team moves the ball on offense.

Glennon could be a solid starter if he has some help up front, but he doesn’t have the ceiling that Mariota would be able to bring to the team. If the opportunity to get Mariota is not there, then the team better look at finding some help up front to protect Glennon.
