The Cincinnati Bengals defense has been exposed a bit in the last few games and they will be playing the next couple of games without Vontaze Burfict. Burfict is getting his knee cleaned up and will be out. The Bengals will also be without running back Giovanni Bernard in the game. Those are a couple of key players that will not be able to play for the Bengals on Sunday. In good news, the Bengals will be able to get A.J. Green back in the game. He has been dealing with a nagging toe injury and has been out for a few weeks. We still will have to see if he is just a decoy on the field or if he will be able to put up the production that we are used to seeing from him.

More from Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals defense will not have to deal with a high powered offense though. The Jaguars only average 14.8 points per game and have struggled with turnovers all season. They have a rookie running the show at quarterback and he is still finding his way.  Blake Bortles has shown some nice potential on the field, but the troubles of a rookie have shown up from time to time. You can see him gaining more and more confidence though. Allen Robinson has been a nice target for him down the field and the team has found a nice role for Denard Robinson at the running backs spot. Things are looking better for the Jags and they could give the Bengals a run for their money.
