By Ernie Padaon
Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with a clavicle injury. The injury will not need surgery, but it will keep Foles on the shelf for some time to recover. With Foles on the sideline, the starting duties will be going to Mark Sanchez.

Sanchez stepped into the game against the Houston Texans on Sunday and completed 15 of 22 passes for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Eagles will be hoping to have that type of success out of him for the rest of the season.
The injury to Foles could keep him out for the rest of the regular season. It will be up to Sanchez to close this thing out and if he plays well he could get the opportunity to take the snaps in the post season. That is if there is a post season.
Sanchez will be taking the starting role on a team that is currently sitting in first place at 6-2 and Sanchez will need to continue the team’s success. Foles had not been playing particularly well in that 6-2 start, but the team still has found ways to win.
Sanchez will now have to work with that offensive line that is beat up. He did well in his opportunity on Sunday and will need to keep this thing rolling.
