Clashes in the NFL do not get much more epic than this one, folks. On Sunday two of the league’s most iconic franchises will battle it out on the NFL’s most sacred ground for the right to move on to the NFC Championship Game. The two teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers.

The Cowboys showed great resolve and, referee controversy aside, put together a great comeback against the Lions to win their wildcard playoff game. That game was in Dallas, this game is in Green Bay — the Cowboys wouldn’t have it any other way. The ‘Boys are road warriors, but the Packers defend their home better than anyone in the league. What’s that about an unmovable force and unstoppable object?

This will be one of the more hyped divisional playoff games in recent NFL history, for good reason. These rosters are absolutely filled with stars and these two fan bases are among the very largest in the nation (no one has forgotten about you Steeler Nation). This game truly does have all of the ingredients of an all-time classic.

Are you excited yet?

Well if not, I have laid out five story lines that I believe will be the most interesting to watch for in this contest. From the history behind this game, to Tony Romo‘s legacy, to the weather, to which running back will have the better game, to if the winner will represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, I have broken it all down. We are truly blessed as NFL fans, this is going to be a fun one.
