Which five free agents should the Indianapolis Colts target this coming offseason after making it to the AFC Championship game?

Ryan Grigson and the Indianapolis Colts took yet another step forward this past season, and made it to the AFC Championship game. Unfortunately, they were blown out in embarrassing fashion by the New England Patriots and are now preparing to fill some holes in their roster during free agency and the draft.

Andrew Luck still has plenty of work to do on his game, but he is beginning to look more and more like a legitimate elite quarterback. The one thing that the Colts need to do this offseason is bring in a running back that can stabilize their ground game and make it a factor each and every game. There are two options, and they will both be mentioned in the five players that the Colts should target.

Indianapolis hasn’t been shy of making big moves, and that can be proven by taking a look at Trent Richardson. They traded a first-round pick for him, and he isn’t expected to be back next year. It was a big trade that simply never came close to what they were hoping to see.

That being said, they cannot allow their lack of success with Richardson to scare them away from making big moves this offseason if they present themselves.

It is going to be a very intriguing offseason to keep track of the Colts. They have quite a few needs on the defensive side of the football especially, but the running game is going to be a major need as well.
