Currently, the New England Patriots only have $9.8 million in cap space left, but Brandon Browner seems like he will be let go, and there are other ways the Patriots could create cap room, as I have mentioned in previous articles. I have put together a list of players, that should be on the Patriots radar. Some of these players would come pretty cheap, and some would be more expensive. Depending on how a few things work out, some of these signings might not be possible, but who knows. (These are not ranked in specific order)

1. Darrelle Revis, CB

If the Patriots are able to re-sign Darrelle Revis, a lot of these other names become non-factors, because Darrelle Revis would simply be to expensive. Revis is the best cornerback in the NFL and he proved that last year. While his stats weren’t mind-blowing, his play was. Especially later in the year, Revis shut down every wide receiver he played against, and was just an absolute beast. Obviously Revis would come at a steep cost, but the Patriots can simply not afford to lose him, but they might not have the cap room to keep him.

2. Dan Williams, DT

The New England Patriots need someone to fill in the hole that Vince Wilfork left, and Williams could be an affordable solution. Williams is a good run-stopping defensive tackle. The key point is, that he would most likely be affordable and that is what the Patriots need. He does have quite a few suitors, but the Patriots do have a certain pedigree that most teams can’t bring to the table. Williams would be a fine signing for the Patriots, and would be a big help to what might be a shaky run defense.
