The 2015 NFL schedule has been released, and that includes the schedule for the reigning NFC North champion Green Bay Packers. This has been a mild offseason for the Packers, with them losing some veteran players, re-signing other players, but eventually they will replace those lost players either via their depth already on the roster or with players from the 2015 NFL Draft.

Green Bay is coming off a 12-4 regular season that saw them not only win a NFC North championship for the fourth consecutive season, but they were one win away from representing the conference in the Super Bowl.

Key losses to the roster include such veteran players as A.J. Hawk and Brad Jones at linebacker (both released), and they lost defensive backs Davon House to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tramon Williams to the Cleveland Browns in free agency.

There have been a few additions to the team this offseason as well with the signing of Josh Francis at linebacker and the re-signing of wide receiver Randall Cobb, amongst others, including fan favorite fullback John Kuhn.

More from Green Bay Packers

The schedule of the Packers will be tough as always, including two games apiece against the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings, with the games against the Lions probably being the toughest of those six games listed this upcoming season.

Green Bay will also be facing the following teams at Lambeau Field: Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Rams, San Diego Chargers and the Seattle Seahawks.

Other road games for the Packers include: Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders and the San Francisco 49ers.

One game of high interest is the Packers’ home game on Thanksgiving against the Bears, with it not only being the first home game on Thanksgiving for Green Bay since 1923, but the Packers will be retiring the No. 4 of Brett Favre that night as well. That’s going to be a very tough “Turkey Day” for “Da Bears.”

Another “must-watch” game for the Packers will be them hosting the NFC champion Seahawks, a rematch of the NFC Championship game one season ago. Speaking of rematches, the Packers will be hosting the Cowboys in a rematch of their classic NFC Divisional Round game.

The one plus for the Packers’ schedule is they host the Cowboys and Seahawks at the iconic Lambeau Field.

With that said, here are the five most important games on the schedule of the Packers this season. Do you agree?
