If you take one look at the Oakland Raiders’ schedule this season you would be forgiven for crying, throwing things, and generally being very upset. According to CBS Sports, the Raiders are tied with the Kansas City Chiefs for 7th toughest schedule in the NFL and will face opponents with a combined record of 139-116-1 and a winning percentage of .545 in 2015.

The Raiders finish the season last year with a 3-13 record but showed signs of improvement late on in the season. They won their last three home games against tough teams in the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, and the Kansas City Chiefs. They also played spoiler to all three of those teams’ playoff hopes.

Several key free agents were signed and despite not looking quite like a playoff contender yet they will look to build on the momentum of the last few weeks of the 2014 season.
