The Dallas Cowboys have many star names on their roster and even with their ownership.

More from Dallas Cowboys

Their quarterback is known more for his on-the-field mishaps early in his career instead of his quality play in more recent seasons. The owner has never seen a camera or microphone he wasn’t a fan of, and the franchise itself is one of (if not the most) popular (and disliked) franchises in all of sports.

That’s what makes “America’s Team” so interesting for every football fan … either fans love them or hate them.

But the Cowboys are like every other team in pro sports … they have their superstars, but they also have the little-known players who make a difference for the better on the roster.

Last season, that player was Cole Beasley, and in their Super Bowl champion seasons of the ’90s, it was players like Bill Bates and Daryl Johnston, to name a couple.

For the Cowboys to repeat as champions of the NFC East in 2015, plus go even further than the division round of the playoffs, the “unknown” players will have to make their mark somehow during games this season.

The current roster has players who can be the difference of a win or a loss, but aren’t household names for NFL fans. Here are five players to keep an extra eye on this season, as they can become difference makers for the Cowboys’ roster in 2015.
