The 2015 NFL regular season will commence on Thursday, September 10 when the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers. This will mark the date that football fans around the world rejoice.

It’ll also mark the date that second-year players put under the microscope and judged as long-term prospects.

A second season hardly determines the outcome of a career, but it can go a long way towards doing so. Sophomore slumps are forgivable, but for players with something to prove, it can be a boom-or-bust type of situation.

Some face that pressure, while others do not.

This article isn’t about the established stars. Players such as Odell Beckham Jr., Kelvin Benjamin, Aaron Donald, Mike Evans, Jeremy HillKhalil Mack and Sammy Watkins have already proven themselves in the eyes of the general public.

The question is, which 2014 NFL Draft alumni will make their name during the 2015 season?
