According to John Breech of CBSSports.com, the Atlanta Falcons have been granted the statistically-easiest schedule based on last year’s records so back to a winning tradition could be within their grasp. Time management gaffes against the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns prevented the team from reaching .500 but even then, that retrospectively would be counted as an achievement for an injury-battered and talent-starved roster.

Dan Quinn and his fellow assistants breathe new life into Flowery Branch. A change in energy has been noted by players such as Roddy White and Desmond Trufant in contrast to the deadbeat atmosphere 2014 beheld.

The Falcons will have to hold their patience for their season to start as they host the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. The Eagles had quite an entertaining offseason but there’s no doubt about it – they will march into the Georgia Dome with a very strong team. The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers are the class of the NFC but the Eagles are just a notch below.
