It’s simply amazing. We are in the final three days of August and the NFL regular season is a mere dozen days away.

Meanwhile, we are nearly finished when it comes to our views for the upcoming NFL season.

We have already taken a look at six divisions: The AFC East, AFC North and AFC South, as well as the NFC East, NFC North and NFC South. We have also previewed the Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Arizona Cardinals and San Diego Chargers.

That means in the latest series for NFL Spin Zone, we are more than three-quarters of the way through the 32 teams in the league.

Here we explain how each club can reach the postseason IF they do this AND they do that. BUT if they fail to do something else and/or the team is derailed in some other way…well…there’s always next year.

Here we take a look at the San Francisco 49ers, who dropped to 8-8 this past season after three straight trips to the NFC title game, including an appearance in Super Bowl XLVII.

So can new head coach Jim Tomsula revive a team that looked like it was on the upswing?

We shall see. In any case, it means that the San Francisco 49ers are headed to the postseason for the fourth time in five years…
