New England Patriots will make major example out of Colts
The New England Patriots are set to face the Indianapolis Colts tonight on Sunday Night Football as this could end up being quite the lopsided contest in favor for the defending Super Bowl champs thanks to revenge.
If it’s one thing to be terrified about if you’re facing the New England Patriots during their consecutive win streak and it’s another to be the team that caused months of turmoil and grief due to a certain controversy. The Indianapolis Colts were indeed the team that started the entire DeflateGate scandal that erupted into a national story that plagued the Patriots well into their Super Bowl victory, all throughout the off-season and even to this very day.

The Patriots have been playing some of their best football to date as quarterback Tom Brady has been a man on a mission. So far this season, he’s totaled 1,387 passing yards on 116 completions for 11 touchdowns and has yet to throw an interception this season.
Brady is inspired to prove to the masses that there is no questioning his integrity of the game as he is set to prove that he is indeed one of the greatest to ever play his position. Unfortunately for the Colts, one better believe he will truly put on quite the show in a nationally televised game to continue having one of the best seasons of his prolific career against the team that started all the questions about if he’s a cheater.
Regardless, the question of the day is whether or not quarterback Andrew Luck will suit up against the Patriots. He’s officially listed as questionable but even if he was playing, the Colts’ offense won’t be able to keep up in a shootout against Brady and his incredible bunch that are literally bulldozing opponents on a weekly basis in all aspects of their game.
The Colts’ offense has been doing well but commits way too many penalties on offense which will be an area that the Patriots will surely exploit and take advantage of. They also don’t have anywhere near the talented core of players like the Patriots do as the Colts could possibly make history for all the wrong reasons in this matchup.
A ton of emotions will fill the air as this is the first time these two teams will face each other since last year’s AFC Championship game that saw the Patriots rout the Colts 45-7. Brady was able to appeal and beat his suspension to ensure he would not only start the season with a bang but also put a circle on this Week 6 matchup. This will be payback ladies and gentlemen.

Think about the kind of revenge that Brady will want to unleash against the Colts and the inspirational words he will tell every single member of his team to truly push the envelope in this matchup. Considering the Patriots want to prove a major point to the football world that there is nothing shady about how they take care of business on the football field, this game could be the one that proves why they are truly one of the best teams playing today in the NFL.
From the extraordinary play of Brady and how he spreads the football to everyone on offens, a solid rushing attack combined with a solid defense that already has 16.0 sacks on the season, this team is clicking on all cylinders. They have some major momentum on their side as they will no doubt start the season 5-0 after making a major example out of the Colts and silencing even more of their critics.
Expect to see the Patriots really bring the aggression in this matchup and leave this game victorious after making a huge statement as to not only why they’re the defending Super Bowl champions but that they’ll bury the Colts yet again. This will be their 80th meeting as the Patriots confidently lead the series 46-28 during the regular season as after all is said and done, they’ll earn their 47th victory over the Colts in an impressive victory fueled by revenge.
