The New York Jets have turned things around over the past two weeks, and are now primed for a strong December run to the playoffs.

Once upon a time, the New York Jets were on their way to another irrelevant finish. They had lost four out of five games, and were sitting at 5-5. But what a difference in two weeks for Todd Bowles’ bunch. The New York Jets have won two straight, including a thrilling come from behind win in overtime over the New York Giants last week. Now they sit at 7-5, and hold the second Wild Card position in the AFC, sixth overall.

Now we are in the most important month of the year for NFL teams, the month of December. Now is the time teams make the final push to make the playoffs, and jockey for playoff positioning. Thanks to the last two weeks, the New York Jets are right in the thick of that push.

They likely need to win three out of the last four to be in a solid position to make the playoffs, as they would be 10-6. Looking at their last four opponents, 10-6 is a very real possibility. Let’s examine.
