The Oakland Raiders logged their first official training camp practice on Friday. The players let out the jitters and reassembled with teammates for the summer leading up to the season.

Quarterback Derek Carr and wideout Amari Cooper will share space together as roommates in Napa, per the team’s official website. It’s a good move when considering the expectations on the Raiders’ passing offense for the upcoming season.

Defensive end Khalil Mack spoke about striving for better. At one point, he acknowledged the team’s offseason growth but realizes the need to translate the potential into production for the upcoming season.

Head coach Jack Del Rio seemed upbeat during his media session and highlighted a few players who’ve projected a good first impression or face high expectations in 2016.
