Tom Brady returned home in front of his home crowd for the New England Patriots and predictably delivered the goods early on

New England Patriots fans had their first chance to welcome back their future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady to Gillette Stadium for the first time this season after he served a four-game suspension this season.

In the second quarter Brady threw his first touchdown of the season in front of his home fans, doing so against the Cincinnati Bengals to put the Patriots ahead, 10-7 at halftime.

Brady was 12-of-16 in the first half for 136 yards with the one touchdown pass and no interceptions. As for the touchdown pass, it went for 15 yards on a pass to running back James White. Brady and White took full advantage of the Bengals defense as White was being covered by a linebacker from Cincinnati.

The touchdown drive totaled eight plays for 75 yards, taking a total of 2:09. In the first half, Brady also had one rush for two yards. He was also sacked once in the first half, courtesy of Vontaze Burfict.
