Ezekiel Elliott caught a short screen pass with open field ahead and he made the Pittsburgh Steelers pay with an 83-yard Dallas Cowboys touchdown.

The Dallas Cowboys found themselves in an early hole on the road in NFL Week 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. After a Le’Veon Bell touchdown catch followed by an Eli Rogers score as well (along with two failed two-point conversions) the Steelers led 12-3. That only meant it was time for Dallas to get rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott the ball and watch the magnificent youngster go to work.

Backed up thanks to a few penalties, the Cowboys ran just a short screen pass to the running back to try and just chip away at the large yardage-to-gain ahead of them. However, you can never rule out Zeke doing something spectacular and that’s exactly what he had on-deck.

Elliott caught the pass from Dak Prescott with a great deal of open field and solid blocking ahead of him. He took the rock to the right sideline and the former track-star turned on the burners. When he’s in that open field, there’s no one that’s going to be able to catch him. Zeke crossed into the end zone having torched Pittsburgh for 83 yards:

It’s absolutely electric every single time Ezekiel Elliott touches the ball. He’s truly a special talent i this league already while playing in just his ninth career game. Suffice it to say that the rookie out of Ohio State will have a lot more big plays like this ahead of him in his career.

That touchdown brought the score to 12-10 and seemed to swing the momentum in favor of the road team. Of course, momentum can change in an instant. But the last thing you want to do is give a player like Zeke that type of confidence early in a game.
