The Dallas Cowboys are set to have one of the best rushing attacks in the league in 2017. Why not add Marshawn Lynch to make it even better?

Everyone and their mother knows that the Dallas Cowboys love to run the football. Rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott led the league with 1,631 yards on the ground last season. His closest competition was more than 300 yards behind him.

The bell cow spot is clearly not available in Big D. But, the Dallas Cowboys are always interested in adding depth to their entire roster. Considering they already have veterans Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris, it may seem unnecessary to add another running back.

But, sometimes, unnecessary is a whole lot of fun. Just picture this for a minute: Beast Mode behind The Great Wall of Dallas. Oh, and don’t forget, Marshawn Lynch would be running after Zeke already tired a defense out. That duo almost doesn’t seem fair.

Now, in all likelihood, Lynch is probably signing with the Oakland (Las Vegas) Raiders. However, reports are surfacing that the Raiders need a decision by the NFL Draft (per NFL.com). Let’s have fun for a minute and suppose that Beast Mode isn’t sure if he wants to play there.

The NFL Draft rolls around and Marshawn Lynch hasn’t made a decision. The Raiders pull their offer from the table. Jerry Jones hops on the phone. All the papers read “America’s Team Goes Beast Mode.”

From Lynch’s perspective, this move makes all the sense. He’ll join a run-heavy team, but he won’t be responsible for the full load of a running back. At his age, that’s a good thing. If Lynch lands in Dallas, he will be a part of the greatest two-headed rushing attack in all of football next season.

Plus, with Zeke being a M&Ms kind-of-guy, he shouldn’t have to worry about sharing his Skittles.
