The Oakland Raiders have made splashes all offseason and have Super Bowl aspirations, but when does their 2017 training camp begin?

There is always going to be buzz about the Oakland Raiders. With the silver and black, they are always a polarizing team with passionate fans throughout the country. However, they’ve been in the forefront throughout almost the entirety of the offseason. Now that most of that has subsided, they’re readying for 2017 training camp for what should be a big season.

Perhaps the biggest — and most disappointing — news for the Raiders is the confirmation of their pending move to Las Vegas. They will be moving in two-to-three years and things should be odd until then. The good news, though, is that the Raiders were able to make some good things happen in light of this.

Marshawn Lynch returning to the NFL and landing with Oakland is immensely fun and exciting. He’s a native of the area and the fans in the space are thrilled to have a local hero suiting up. More importantly, though, Beast Mode could be a key cog in the offense if he can recapture his form.

If that weren’t enough, the Raiders were also recently able to lock up Derek Carr to a massive extension. The quarterback is now the highest paid player in the entire league, making $25 million per year. And he’s going to need to continue playing like it for the Raiders to reach their goals.

The Raiders have also amped up their defense, largely through the draft, to help out the likes of Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin. Rookies Gareon Conley (pending criminal charges) and Obi Melifonwu will be huge in the secondary. Meanwhile, Eddie Vanderdoes could be big on the interior of the line.

All of this is to say that, despite the pending move to Sin City, this team is primed for a Super Bowl run. So when does that run being, meaning when does Oakland Raiders 2017 training camp begin?

The Raiders will start training camp on July 24 when rookies report, with veterans reporting to Napa, CA on July 28. And with that, the silver and black will look to bring glory to Oakland before they leave.
