Ray Lewis is famous for his pre game dance as he comes out of the tunnel in Baltimore. With this being his last ride as a Baltimore Raven, and the way the seeding works in the playoffs, this was set to be Ray Lewis’s last game in Baltimore. He of course had his hyped dance the highlight of kick off.

But when the game was winding down, Ray Lewis came out onto the field with the offense for the last play of the game in the victory formation. As soon as the whistle blew he did his famous dance. Some Colts players took exception to this dance.

“I saw it as disrespectful,” Wayne said, via Jake Query of WNDE. “They’d already had a tribute every quarter.”

Well Ray Lewis is obviously and expectedly defending his post game dance, and claims it wasn’t about offending anyone, simply celebrating himself. Teammate Ray Rice is the one who informed Lewis of Wayne’s comment.

“That was about capping off a heck of a legacy of 17 years. When he was in Pop Warner playing football, I was in Baltimore. To salute my city that way, I guess the trot around the field was disrespectful too. No. It wasn’t even about them. The game was over,” Lewis said, via the team’s website. “I didn’t go towards their sideline or make no big issue of that because I’ve never been that type of player. But [it was] to salute my city, knowing that people love to see that.”

Ray Lewis even offered a possible alternative to the reason behind Wayne’s comments.

“Of course after a loss everybody is bitter,” Lewis said. “I’ve felt the same way many times.”

Ray Lewis also went on to vocalize his admiration for the Indianapolis Colts’ receiver. Wayne is a Miami Hurricane like Ray Lewis, and also good friends with Lewis’ long time teammate Ed Reed.

“I love Reggie to death. Reggie will tell you how much I love him. There was never nothing personal between him and the Colts. I texted Chuck [Pagano] immediately after the game and told him how much I care for him, how much I love him. It wasn’t even about them. It was about me honoring my team and honoring my city.”

Here is the real question. When will see the dance again? After every postseason victory this year? In the intros for the Superbowl? Who knows as Lewis fights for the elusive Vince Lombardi Trophy one more time.

It’s time to look at the individual fantasy matchups that the Indianapolis Colts will be facing when they take on the Miami Dolphins today. The biggest injury for the Colts is the knee injury to Donald Brown, and he is listed questionable on the injury report after it was found that his knee swelled yesterday. He practiced fully on Friday and will be limited if he does play.

QB Andrew Luck

The Miami Dolphins defense is an underrated unit overall, despite being thin at the safety position. Cornerback Sean Smith does a solid job of shadowing receivers, and the pass rush is up there with the best of them. Cameron Wake is the headlining name, but Randy Starks is always one to watch on the inside.

There’s no reason to start Luck in this matchup, especially with No. 2 WR Donnie Avery consistently underperforming each week. He doesn’t even catch 50% of what’s thrown at him. Stanford teammate Coby Fleener will be out for two weeks, and Luck is once again a player who is an absolute no-go for your fantasy team.

Jim Brown-US PRESSWIRE

RB Donald Brown/Vick Ballard

I think he will be able to play through the pain, but he’s going to be splitting carries pretty evenly with Vick Ballard even if he does play. It’s difficult to pick one player over the other, because it depends on what you think Brown’s chances are of playing and how many carries he gets in comparison. The difference maker is probably going to be the fact that Brown is the better running back and averages almost a full yard per carry more.

Update: Start Ballard, because Brown is unlikely to play.

WR Reggie Wayne

Reggie Wayne is, once again, a must-start and will be the most productive player on the Colts offense. He’s the most talented player, and he has arguably the best matchup overall. Smith is a good CB overall, but he does get burned quite a bit and isn’t the best against precise route-runners like Wayne. At this point, the Colts veteran wideout is likely one of the best ten at the position this week. I think he can break a deep catch or two, in addition to all the targets he’s able to hoard. Wayne isn’t even going to draw all of his assignments against Smith, and that’s a good thing given the weaknesses of the rest of the DBs in coverage.

WR Donnie Avery

Even if you are in a 14-team league, there are better options at WR and, hopefully, at the flex position. Avery doesn’t even average 50 receiving yards per game.

TE Dwayne Allen

Even though he is productive on a per-target basis, Allen doesn’t get many targets and will only gain about three more targets with Fleener out. The focus is going to be on Wayne, and there are better options than Allen out there.

Colts Defense/ST

Reggie Bush is going to light up the Colts run defense, especially since they allow running backs to average 4.8 yards per carry against them. The pass defense is even worse, and the only thing going for them is the fact that Brian Hartline and Ryan Tannehill are both listed questionable. Matt Moore is a great backup QB as well. I mean, there is no reason to roster the Colts defense in the first place with how bad the secondary is and the lack of push against the run. I love the pass rush from Robert Mathis and Jerry Hughes, but this defense is clearly one of the worst ten in the NFL.

Thomas J. Russo-US PRESSWIRE

Wayne caught 13 passes for 212 yards to set a career-high, which is absolutely astounding considering Wayne has been in the league for such a long time. He’s somebody who should be in the Hall of Fame discussion once he retires, so breaking a record like that and getting 200+ yards is nothing to sneeze at. He was the most important player on a Colts team that completed an emotional upset over the Green Bay Packers that helps remind us why we love the game. I can’t think of a player who deserved this week’s honor more.

He is now 17th on the all-time receiving list after pushing past notable receivers in Derrick Mason, Hines Ward, and former San Diego Chargers HOFer Charlie Joyner.

Randy Starks helped shut down the Cincinnati Bengals rushing game and picked off a pass to go with a sack and three tackles. His strong performance was made all the more important due to Jared Odrick’s poor day, but I feel like the NFL dropped the ball with this one. Von Miller may have been on the losing side in the Denver Broncos game against the New England Patriots, but he was absolutely insane and cemented his place as the man who is clearly the best pass rusher in the league this year.

The Pittsburgh Steelers won their in-state rivalry game against the Philadelphia Eagles 16-14 thanks to a game-winning 34-yard field goal from Shane Suisham that was almost dead center and had Ben Roethlisberger pumping his fist after a hard-fought victory. Suisham knocked down all three of his field goal attempts and was the obvious choice here. He has not missed a kick this season (eight attempts), and it is his fifth GW kick in his career.

Wide receiver Reggie Wayne has re-signed with the Indianapolis Colts, in a move that seems to put an end to any speculation that the veteran wideout could reunite with Peyton Manning. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports:

[blackbirdpie url="https://twitter.com/#!/AdamSchefter/status/179745303354814465"]

The wide receiver market is quickly dwindling. This could lead to a team biting the bullet and trading a first-round pick for Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace. In the meantime, you have to wonder what this means for Peyton Manning. It looks like he will be going somewhere without his longtime friend and receiver.
