Wait. So you mean to tell me that the Carolina Panthers, a team that just won their first game since October 5th is just one game out of first place? It sounds crazy, but for the Carolina Panthers this is their reality. A 41-10 win on the road in New Orleans will go a long way in possibly securing their second straight division title.

This last weekend was by far their best team performance of the season. When they needed it most, they got a big game from just about every star on the team. Cam Newton had his best game of the season, finishing with four touchdowns (three passing, one rushing), while Jonathan Stewart ran for 155 yards. Star tight end Greg Olsen also caught ten balls, including a 16 yard touchdown right before halftime.

The defense was just as good, holding the Saints to just ten points. Seven of those points came in the closing minutes when the game was already out of hand.

I really am having a hard time realizing that this team can make the postseason. They have won just one game in two months, yet their just one game back. That’s truly incredible. But hey, good for them. Let’s see if they can make the most of it this week as they play host to a two win Tampa team.
. (4-8-1). Previous: . Carolina Panthers. 25. team. 87
