<p>At 6’5″ and 229 pounds, Mannion sports a thin frame, but has room to bulk up. His height adds a lot to his potential as a quarterback.</p>
<p>He has experience playing in the Beavers’ pro-style system, reading coverages and taking snaps under center, which gives him an edge over quarterback prospects who are undergoing huge stylistic overhauls to help them adjust to the NFL’s type of of play. However, his throwing mechanics need tuning, as he throws over the top.</p>
<p>He is a born leader, having been selected as the team captain three times while at Oregon State. He has also been known as a guy who can take hard coaching, allowing him to learn more from tougher coaches.</p>
<p>He has a lot to learn to become a solid quaterback at the next level, but he has the intangibles of a great leader that cannot be taught.</p>
